Cu acest server IP puteti comanda prin internet sau prin reteaua locala Ethernet pana la 4 consumatori conectati la reteaua de 220V.

La ce este util asa ceva?
De la mici automatizari casnice (de ex. comanda de la birou a pornirii centralei de incalzire de acasa sau pornirii aerului conditionat in casa de vacanta de la mare), pana la automatizari industriale, de pornire/oprire de la distanta a unor procese de fabricatie.

De remarcat este faptul ca, in afara unei legaturi LAN (local area network), adica o conectare la o retea obisnuita, nu este nevoie de un calculator in locul in care se doreste instalarea serverului.

Modelul IP 9258 PING aer in plus fata de modelul standard IP 9258 o functie de monitorizare a blocarii dispozitivelor comandate (funcrtie de tip "watch dog"), prin supravegherea raspunsului la ping. In cazul in care apare o blocare, serverul comanda restartarea automata a dispozitivului.
